Rising Star Optometry was founded in San Rafael in 2003 by Dr. David Grisham and started out only seeing children one day a week while he was a full-time professor at Cal. I joined as an associate of the practice in 2007 and we expanded to fitting contact lenses and seeing adult patients for comprehensive eye exams. Today, with offices serving in both San Rafael and San Francisco, we are experts in managing vision problems from concussion and other brain injuries, vision therapy for adults and children, sports performance enhancement assessments and training, and much more!
